Y'know, instead of that Final Fantasy VII mobile game (Evercrisis) that remakes/remasters FF7 but also fills it full of a bunch of worthless gacha garbage, Square could have kept the ball rolling and did a Final Fantasy VII Pixel Remaster that reimagined the entire game as a SNES era Final Fantasy

And just roll on through. FF8 Pixel remaster. FF9. 10. All of them. Demake the entire franchise.

"But what about the ones with more action-y combat" I don't care. Keep them classic and turn based. Lean into it. Get weird with it. Don't be a coward!

The Fiesta Is Here!

I'm running the Pixel Remaster and now I need to figure out how hard the run is going to be.

For those who don't know, the Four Job Fiesta is kind of like a charity marathon, people run Final Fantasy 5 each June to raise money for charity. This year's charity is the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, which you can donate to here for the campaign.

I try to do it every year though it's hard between being poor myself and not being really popular at all but it's super fun. If you want to help make my run harder, watch me play, or want to know more about how it works just ask.

It starts in 13 days and some change, and the inaugural playthrough will be hosted on RPGLimitBreak as The Run. You can see more about that here.

Hopefully I get good jobs this year, and hope you do too if you're also doing it!

This is something I've been thinking about, lately.

There are so many versions of these games so oh so many tweaks – some minor, some major. (Looking at you, Pixel Remaster Series.) But, whether you're intimately familiar with the games and their revisions, or you just know about them through some casual encounters, it boils down to one question for me:

Of the five six major releases of the game, which do you prefer?

This isn't a poll about which version is "the best" or which version has the most content. This is purely a poll about preference. So, which versions of these two games are your "cup of tea", as it were?
